Instructions:
1. In a mixing bowl, beat the eggs with a pinch of salt and pepper.
2. Heat the butter in a skillet over medium heat.
3. Add the diced ham, bell pepper, and onion to the skillet. Cook until softened.
4. Pour the beaten eggs into the skillet. Cook until the eggs start to set.
5. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the eggs. Fold the omelet in half and cook until the cheese is melted.
6. Serve hot.
