Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 2 ripe plantains peeled and sliced
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil for frying
  • 1 pinch salt to taste

Instructions: 

  • Heat the oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  • Add the plantain slices in a single layer and fry until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  • Remove the plantains from the pan and place them on paper towels to drain excess oil.
  • Sprinkle with salt to taste and serve warm.

Notes:

For best results, use ripe plantains that are yellow with black spots.
