Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 2 lbs Chicken Thighs bone-in, skin-on
  • 1/2 cup Soy Sauce
  • 1/2 cup Vinegar white or cane vinegar
  • 6 cloves Garlic crushed
  • 1 tsp Black Peppercorns
  • 3 pcs Bay Leaves
  • 1 cup Water

Instructions: 

  • 1. Combine chicken, soy sauce, and garlic in a large pot. Marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  • 2. Add vinegar, water, peppercorns, and bay leaves to the pot. Bring to a boil.
  • 3. Lower heat and simmer for 30-45 minutes, until chicken is tender.
  • 4. Remove chicken and reduce sauce to desired consistency.
  • 5. Return chicken to the pot and coat with sauce. Serve hot.

Notes:

For a richer flavor, you can brown the chicken before simmering.
