Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
Cut in the cold butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the heavy cream, egg, and vanilla extract.
Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
Gently fold in the blueberries.
Turn the dough out onto a floured surface and shape it into a circle about 1-inch thick. Cut into 8 wedges.
Place the wedges on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes, or until golden brown.
Let cool on a wire rack before serving.
