Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb Ham, diced
  • 1 cup Dried white beans soaked overnight
  • 1 Onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 2 carrots Carrots, sliced
  • 2 stalks Celery, sliced
  • 6 cups Chicken broth
  • 1 tsp Dried thyme
  • 1 tsp Dried parsley
  • 1 tsp Black pepper
  • to taste Salt

Instructions: 

  • 1. Place all ingredients in the slow cooker.
  • 2. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or until beans are tender.
  • 3. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper to taste before serving.

Notes:

For a thicker soup, you can mash some of the beans before serving.
