Instructions:
1. In a mixing bowl, combine olive oil, oregano, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
2. Add the sliced meat to the bowl and coat well with the marinade. Let it sit for at least 15 minutes.
3. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
4. Grill the meat for about 5-7 minutes on each side until fully cooked.
5. Warm the pita bread on the grill for about 1 minute on each side.
6. Assemble the gyros by placing the grilled meat on the pita bread, adding tzatziki sauce, tomatoes, onions, and lettuce.
7. Roll up the pita bread and serve immediately.
Notes:
For an authentic taste, use Greek pita bread and homemade tzatziki sauce.
