Equipment

  • Skillet
  • Spatula
  • Knife
  • Cutting board

Ingredients:

Main Ingredients

  • 4 pieces Pork Chops
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1 cup Mushrooms, sliced
  • 4 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 cup Heavy Cream
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Black Pepper

Instructions:

  • 1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  • 2. Season pork chops with salt and pepper, then add to the skillet. Cook until browned on both sides, about 4-5 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
  • 3. In the same skillet, add mushrooms and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
  • 4. Add minced garlic and cook for another minute.
  • 5. Pour in heavy cream, stirring constantly. Bring to a simmer.
  • 6. Return pork chops to the skillet, spooning sauce over them. Simmer for another 5 minutes or until pork chops are cooked through.
  • 7. Serve hot, garnished with fresh herbs if desired.

Notes:

For a lighter version, you can use half-and-half instead of heavy cream.
