Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 500 g Okra sliced
  • 1 large Onion chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 400 g Tomatoes chopped
  • 1 l Chicken Broth
  • 1 tsp Salt to taste
  • 1/2 tsp Black Pepper to taste

Instructions: 

  • 1. Heat the large pot over medium heat.
  • 2. Add chopped onions and minced garlic, sauté until translucent.
  • 3. Add chopped tomatoes and cook for 5 minutes.
  • 4. Add sliced okra and cook for another 5 minutes.
  • 5. Pour in the chicken broth, bring to a boil, then reduce to a simmer for 20 minutes.
  • 6. Season with salt and black pepper to taste. Serve hot.

Notes:

Feel free to add other vegetables or proteins to this soup.
