Ingredients:

  • 2 tbsp Butter
  • 2 tbsp Flour
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 1 cup Cheddar Cheese, grated
  • 1 tsp Dijon Mustard
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire Sauce
  • 4 slices Bread, toasted

Instructions: 

  • Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat.
  • Whisk in the flour and cook for 1-2 minutes.
  • Gradually add the milk, whisking constantly until the mixture thickens.
  • Add the grated cheese, mustard, and Worcestershire sauce. Stir until the cheese is melted and the sauce is smooth.
  • Pour the cheese sauce over the toasted bread slices and serve immediately.

Notes:

For a twist, try adding a dash of hot sauce or a sprinkle of paprika.
