Instructions:
1. In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, salt, and black pepper. Mix well and form into meatballs.
2. Heat olive oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Add meatballs and cook until browned on all sides. Remove and set aside.
3. In the same pan, add chopped onion and minced garlic. Sauté until onion is translucent.
4. Add crushed tomatoes, dried oregano, and dried basil. Stir well and bring to a simmer.
5. Return meatballs to the pan, cover, and let simmer for 30 minutes.
6. Cook spaghetti according to package instructions. Drain and serve with meatballs and sauce.
Notes:
For a richer flavor, let the sauce simmer longer. Serve with grated Parmesan cheese.
