Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb Ground Beef
  • 1 cup Breadcrumbs
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Black Pepper
  • 1 can Crushed Tomatoes (28 oz)
  • 1 small Onion chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1 tsp Dried Oregano
  • 1 tsp Dried Basil
  • 1 lb Spaghetti

Instructions: 

  • 1. In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, salt, and black pepper. Mix well and form into meatballs.
  • 2. Heat olive oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Add meatballs and cook until browned on all sides. Remove and set aside.
  • 3. In the same pan, add chopped onion and minced garlic. Sauté until onion is translucent.
  • 4. Add crushed tomatoes, dried oregano, and dried basil. Stir well and bring to a simmer.
  • 5. Return meatballs to the pan, cover, and let simmer for 30 minutes.
  • 6. Cook spaghetti according to package instructions. Drain and serve with meatballs and sauce.

Notes:

For a richer flavor, let the sauce simmer longer. Serve with grated Parmesan cheese.
