Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 2 lbs Fresh figs stems removed, chopped
  • 2 cups Sugar
  • 1 lemon Lemon juice freshly squeezed
  • 1 cup Water

Instructions: 

  • Combine figs, sugar, lemon juice, and water in a large pot.
  • Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring occasionally.
  • Reduce heat and simmer for 45 minutes, stirring frequently, until thickened.
  • Pour into sterilized jars and seal.

Notes:

Store in a cool, dark place. Refrigerate after opening.
