Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 1 cup Butter
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract
  • 1 cup Chocolate chips
  • 1 cup Chopped nuts (optional)

Instructions: 

  • 1. Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat.
  • 2. Add sugar and stir constantly until the mixture reaches 300°F (150°C) on a candy thermometer.
  • 3. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract.
  • 4. Pour the mixture onto a baking sheet and spread evenly.
  • 5. Sprinkle chocolate chips on top and let them melt, then spread the chocolate evenly.
  • 6. Sprinkle chopped nuts on top if using.
  • 7. Let the toffee cool completely before breaking it into pieces.

Notes:

Store in an airtight container for up to two weeks.
