Ingredients:  

Doughnut Ingredients

  • 2 cups All-purpose flour
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1 tbsp Baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 2 tbsp Butter, melted
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract
  • 1 unit Egg
  • 1 unit Oil for frying

Instructions: 

  • In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  • In another bowl, mix milk, melted butter, vanilla extract, and egg.
  • Combine wet and dry ingredients until a dough forms.
  • Roll out the dough on a floured surface and cut into doughnut shapes.
  • Heat oil in a frying pan and fry doughnuts until golden brown.
  • Drain on paper towels and let cool before serving.

Notes:

Best enjoyed fresh. You can also add a glaze or sprinkle with powdered sugar.
