Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 2 cups milk
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 3 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons butter

Instructions: 

  • In a saucepan, combine sugar, cornstarch, and salt.
  • Gradually whisk in milk until smooth.
  • Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture thickens and boils.
  • Boil for 1 minute, then remove from heat.
  • Stir in butter and vanilla extract.
  • Pour into serving dishes and chill.

Notes:

Chill for at least 2 hours before serving for best results.
