Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 1 cup Cornmeal
  • 4 cups Water
  • 1 tsp Salt

Instructions: 

  • Bring 3 cups of water to a boil in a saucepan.
  • In a separate bowl, mix the cornmeal with the remaining 1 cup of cold water.
  • Slowly add the cornmeal mixture to the boiling water, stirring constantly.
  • Reduce heat to low and cook, stirring frequently, until thickened, about 10-15 minutes.
  • Season with salt and serve hot.

Notes:

For a sweeter version, add a bit of sugar or honey.
