Equipment

Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 6 eggs
  • 1/2 cup cottage cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheese cheddar or your choice
  • 1/4 cup cooked bacon chopped
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

Instructions: 

  • 1. Preheat your sous vide precision cooker to 172°F (78°C).
  • 2. In a blender, combine eggs, cottage cheese, shredded cheese, salt, and pepper. Blend until smooth.
  • 3. Spray mason jars with non-stick spray. Divide the mixture evenly among the jars. Add chopped bacon to each jar and stir gently.
  • 4. Place the lids on the jars, but do not tighten them completely. Just enough to keep water out.
  • 5. Submerge the jars in the water bath and cook for 60 minutes.
  • 6. Remove jars from the water bath. Let cool slightly before serving. Enjoy!

Notes:

Feel free to experiment with different fillings like spinach, mushrooms, or ham.
