Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 1 can Creamed corn
  • 1 cup Chicken broth
  • 1 cup Water
  • 2 tbsp Cornstarch mixed with 2 tbsp water
  • 1 Egg beaten
  • 1 tsp Salt to taste
  • 1 tsp White pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp Chopped green onions for garnish

Instructions: 

  • In a pot, combine creamed corn, chicken broth, and water. Bring to a boil.
  • Reduce heat to medium. Add the cornstarch mixture and stir until the soup thickens.
  • Slowly pour in the beaten egg while stirring the soup to create egg ribbons.
  • Season with salt and white pepper to taste.
  • Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.

Notes:

For a vegetarian version, use vegetable broth instead of chicken broth.
