Instructions:
Bring water to a boil in a saucepan.
Add salt and slowly whisk in the polenta.
Reduce heat to low and cook, stirring frequently, until thickened, about 30 minutes.
Stir in butter and Parmesan cheese until melted and well combined.
Serve hot.
Notes:
For a creamier texture, you can substitute half of the water with milk.
