Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 4 cups beets, peeled and sliced
  • 1 cup vinegar
  • 1 cup water
  • 0.5 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp salt

Instructions: 

  • 1. Boil the beets until tender, about 30 minutes.
  • 2. In a pot, combine vinegar, water, sugar, and salt. Bring to a boil.
  • 3. Place beets in a jar and pour the hot liquid over them.
  • 4. Seal the jar and let it cool. Refrigerate for at least 24 hours before serving.

Notes:

Great as a side dish or salad topping.
