Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 2 cups water
  • 1 tbsp fresh ginger, grated
  • 1 tsp ground turmeric
  • 1 tbsp honey (optional)
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice (optional)

Instructions: 

  • 1. In a saucepan, bring water to a boil.
  • 2. Add grated ginger and ground turmeric. Reduce heat and let it simmer for about 10 minutes.
  • 3. Strain the tea into a teapot or directly into mugs.
  • 4. Add honey and lemon juice if desired. Stir well and serve hot.

Notes:

Adjust the amount of ginger and turmeric to your taste. You can also add a pinch of black pepper for better absorption of turmeric.
