Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 1 cup glutinous rice
  • 1 1/2 cups coconut milk
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 ripe mangoes peeled and sliced

Instructions: 

  • Rinse the glutinous rice until the water runs clear.
  • Soak the rice in water for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  • Drain the rice and steam it for 20-25 minutes until cooked.
  • In a saucepan, heat the coconut milk, sugar, and salt until dissolved.
  • Mix the cooked rice with the coconut milk mixture. Let it sit for 10 minutes.
  • Serve the sticky rice with sliced mango on top.

Notes:

Make sure to use ripe mangoes for the best flavor.
