Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 tbsp corn syrup
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions: 

  • In a large saucepan, combine buttermilk, sugar, butter, and corn syrup.
  • Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly.
  • Once boiling, remove from heat and stir in baking soda and vanilla extract.
  • Serve warm over pancakes, waffles, or French toast.

Notes:

This syrup can be stored in the refrigerator for up to a week. Reheat before serving.
