Ingredients:  

Starter Ingredients

  • 1 cup All-purpose flour
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1 cup Milk

Instructions: 

  • In a mixing bowl, combine 1 cup of flour, 1 cup of sugar, and 1 cup of milk. Mix well using a wooden spoon.
  • Cover the bowl loosely with plastic wrap and let it sit at room temperature. Stir the mixture once a day for 10 days.

Notes:

On day 10, the starter is ready to be used for baking Amish Friendship Bread or to be shared with friends.
