Instructions:
In a mixing bowl, combine soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, chili oil (if using), minced garlic, and sugar.
Whisk until the sugar is dissolved and the ingredients are well combined.
Serve immediately with gyoza or store in the refrigerator for up to a week.
Notes:
This sauce can be adjusted to taste. Add more chili oil for extra heat or more sugar for sweetness.
