Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb fresh okra washed and trimmed
  • 2 cups white vinegar
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 tbsp salt
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp mustard seeds
  • 1 tsp dill seeds
  • 4 cloves garlic peeled
  • 4 sprigs fresh dill

Instructions: 

  • 1. In a saucepan, combine vinegar, water, salt, and sugar. Bring to a boil.
  • 2. Pack the okra, garlic, dill sprigs, mustard seeds, and dill seeds into jars.
  • 3. Pour the hot vinegar mixture over the okra, leaving some headspace.
  • 4. Seal the jars and let them cool to room temperature.
  • 5. Refrigerate for at least 24 hours before serving.

Notes:

Store in the refrigerator for up to one month.
