Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 lb chicken breast, diced
  • 1 cup carrots, diced
  • 1 cup celery, diced
  • 1 cup evaporated milk
  • 8 cups chicken broth
  • 2 cups macaroni noodles
  • 1 cup cabbage, shredded
  • 1 pc onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • to taste salt and pepper

Instructions: 

  • Heat oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add garlic and onions, sauté until fragrant.
  • Add chicken breast, cook until no longer pink.
  • Add carrots and celery, cook for 5 minutes.
  • Pour in chicken broth and bring to a boil.
  • Add macaroni noodles, cook until tender.
  • Stir in evaporated milk and cabbage, cook for another 5 minutes.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve hot.

Notes:

Feel free to add hotdogs or ham for a more traditional touch.
