Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 2 cups Sushi Rice short-grain
  • 2.5 cups Water
  • 0.25 cup Rice Vinegar
  • 2 tbsp Sugar
  • 1 tsp Salt

Instructions: 

  • Rinse the rice under cold water until the water runs clear.
  • Combine rice and water in a rice cooker and cook according to the manufacturer's instructions.
  • In a small bowl, mix rice vinegar, sugar, and salt until dissolved.
  • Transfer cooked rice to a large bowl and gently fold in the vinegar mixture with a wooden spoon.
  • Let the rice cool to room temperature before using for sushi.

Notes:

Make sure not to mash the rice while mixing.
