Ingredients:

  • 500 g Chicken Breast cut into strips
  • 4 Pita Bread
  • 1 cup Greek Yogurt
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1 tbsp Lemon Juice freshly squeezed
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1 tsp Oregano dried
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Black Pepper
  • 1 cup Cucumber diced
  • 1 cup Tomato diced
  • 1/2 cup Red Onion sliced

Instructions: 

  • 1. In a mixing bowl, combine Greek yogurt, olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
  • 2. Add chicken strips to the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  • 3. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Grill the marinated chicken strips for about 5-7 minutes on each side or until fully cooked.
  • 4. Warm the pita bread on the grill for 1-2 minutes on each side.
  • 5. Assemble the sandwiches by placing grilled chicken strips, diced cucumber, diced tomato, and sliced red onion inside the pita bread.
  • 6. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes:

Feel free to add your favorite veggies or a dollop of hummus for extra flavor.
