Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).
Place the corned beef brisket in a large Dutch oven.
Add the beef broth, chopped onion, minced garlic, apple cider vinegar, brown sugar, black peppercorns, and bay leaves to the pot.
Bring the mixture to a boil on the stovetop, then cover and transfer to the preheated oven.
Braise in the oven for about 4 hours, or until the meat is tender.
Remove the brisket from the pot and let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
Serve with the cooking liquid spooned over the top.
Notes:
This dish pairs well with boiled potatoes and cabbage.
