large onion, chopped

beef broth

butter beans, drained

soy sauce

browning sauce

black pepper

salt
Instructions:
1. Heat the oil in a large pot over medium-high heat.
2. Add the oxtail and brown on all sides.
3. Add the chopped onion and garlic, and cook until softened.
4. Add thyme, beef broth, soy sauce, browning sauce, black pepper, and salt.
5. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low and simmer for 2.5 to 3 hours, until oxtail is tender.
6. Add butter beans and cook for an additional 15 minutes.
7. Serve hot with rice or your favorite side.
Notes:
This dish is best enjoyed with a side of rice and peas.
