Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tbsp melted butter
  • 1 cup grated apple
  • 1 tsp cinnamon

Instructions: 

  • In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  • In another bowl, mix the milk, egg, and melted butter.
  • Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
  • Fold in the grated apple and cinnamon.
  • Heat a griddle or frying pan over medium heat and lightly grease it.
  • Pour 1/4 cup of batter onto the griddle for each pancake. Cook until bubbles form on the surface, then flip and cook until golden brown.
  • Serve warm with your favorite toppings.

Notes:

These pancakes are great with maple syrup or a dollop of yogurt.
