Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C).
In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
Stir in the buttermilk until just combined.
Melt the butter in a microwave-safe dish and pour it into an 8x8 inch baking dish.
Place the dough on top of the melted butter and spread it out evenly.
Cut the dough into 9 squares.
Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
Notes:
These biscuits are best served warm.
