cooked sushi rice

Spam
sliced into 8 pieces

sheets
nori (seaweed)
cut in half

soy sauce
1/4

sugar

tablespoons
mirin
Instructions:
1. Cook the sushi rice according to package instructions.
2. In a frying pan, cook the Spam slices until crispy on both sides.
3. Mix soy sauce, sugar, and mirin in a bowl. Pour over the Spam slices and cook until the sauce thickens.
4. Place a slice of Spam on a piece of nori. Add a scoop of rice on top using the musubi mold.
5. Wrap the nori around the rice and Spam. Repeat with remaining ingredients.
Notes:
Best enjoyed fresh. Can be stored in the fridge for up to 2 days.
