Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 2 racks pork ribs
  • 0.25 cup brown sugar
  • 0.25 cup paprika
  • 1 tablespoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 cup apple juice
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce

Instructions: 

  • Preheat your smoker to 225°F (107°C).
  • Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs.
  • Mix brown sugar, paprika, black pepper, salt, chili powder, garlic powder, onion powder, and cayenne pepper in a bowl.
  • Rub the spice mix all over the ribs.
  • Place the ribs in the smoker and cook for 3 hours, spritzing with apple juice every hour.
  • Brush with barbecue sauce during the last 30 minutes of smoking.

Notes:

For best results, let the ribs rest for 10 minutes before serving.
