Instructions:
Preheat your smoker to 225°F (107°C).
Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs.
Mix brown sugar, paprika, black pepper, salt, chili powder, garlic powder, onion powder, and cayenne pepper in a bowl.
Rub the spice mix all over the ribs.
Place the ribs in the smoker and cook for 3 hours, spritzing with apple juice every hour.
Brush with barbecue sauce during the last 30 minutes of smoking.
Notes:
For best results, let the ribs rest for 10 minutes before serving.
