Ingredients:

  • 4 apples, peeled, cored, and sliced
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg

Instructions: 

  • Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat.
  • Add apples and cook until tender, about 10 minutes.
  • Stir in brown sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Cook for another 5 minutes.
  • Serve warm.

Notes:

Great as a side dish or dessert. Pairs well with vanilla ice cream.
