Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a loaf pan.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and salt.
In another bowl, mix together the applesauce, sugar, oil, and eggs until well combined.
Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, stirring until just combined.
Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
Bake for about 60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Allow the bread to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes:
For extra flavor, you can add a handful of chopped nuts or raisins to the batter.
