Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 4 cups water
  • 2 cups white vinegar
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 2 tbsp salt
  • 4 cloves garlic, peeled
  • 2 tsp dill seeds
  • 1 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 4-6 small cucumbers, sliced into spears or rounds

Instructions: 

  • In a saucepan, combine water, vinegar, sugar, and salt. Bring to a boil, then remove from heat and let cool.
  • Place garlic, dill seeds, and red pepper flakes (if using) into a clean jar.
  • Pack cucumbers tightly into the jar.
  • Pour the cooled vinegar mixture over the cucumbers, ensuring they are fully submerged.
  • Seal the jar and refrigerate for at least 24 hours before serving.

Notes:

These pickles are best enjoyed within 1-2 weeks.
