Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken livers cleaned and trimmed
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 cup vegetable oil for frying

Instructions: 

  • 1. Soak the chicken livers in buttermilk for at least 1 hour.
  • 2. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder.
  • 3. Heat the oil in a frying pan over medium-high heat.
  • 4. Dredge the soaked livers in the flour mixture, coating them well.
  • 5. Fry the livers in the hot oil until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  • 6. Remove the livers from the oil and drain on paper towels.

Notes:

Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
