  • Bamboo sushi mat
  • Sharp Knife
  • Plastic wrap

Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 2 cups sushi rice cooked and cooled
  • 1/4 cup rice vinegar
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 4 sheets nori
  • 1 avocado sliced
  • 1 cucumber julienned
  • 200 g imitation crab meat shredded
  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds toasted

Instructions: 

  • 1. Mix rice vinegar, sugar, and salt in a bowl until dissolved. Fold into cooked sushi rice.
  • 2. Place a sheet of plastic wrap over a bamboo sushi mat. Lay a sheet of nori on top.
  • 3. Spread a thin layer of sushi rice over the nori, leaving a 1-inch border at the top.
  • 4. Sprinkle toasted sesame seeds over the rice.
  • 5. Flip the nori so the rice is facing down. Place avocado, cucumber, and crab meat mixed with mayonnaise along the bottom edge of the nori.
  • 6. Roll the sushi tightly using the bamboo mat. Slice into pieces with a sharp knife.

Notes:

Serve with soy sauce, pickled ginger, and wasabi.
