Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup Rice vinegar
  • 1/2 cup Water
  • 1/2 cup Sugar
  • 2 tbsp Fish sauce
  • 1 tbsp Soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp Cornstarch mixed with 2 tbsp water
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1 tsp Red chili flakes

Instructions: 

  • In a saucepan, combine rice vinegar, water, sugar, fish sauce, soy sauce, garlic, and red chili flakes. Bring to a boil.
  • Reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes.
  • Stir in cornstarch mixture and cook until sauce thickens, about 2 minutes.
  • Remove from heat and let cool. Store in a jar in the refrigerator.

Notes:

This sauce can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
