mixed with 2 tbsp water

Red chili flakes
Instructions:
In a saucepan, combine rice vinegar, water, sugar, fish sauce, soy sauce, garlic, and red chili flakes. Bring to a boil.
Reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes.
Stir in cornstarch mixture and cook until sauce thickens, about 2 minutes.
Remove from heat and let cool. Store in a jar in the refrigerator.
Notes:
This sauce can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
