Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 4 large sweet potatoes peeled and cubed
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 teaspoon salt to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper to taste

Instructions: 

  • 1. Peel and cube the sweet potatoes.
  • 2. Boil the sweet potatoes in a pot of water until tender, about 20 minutes.
  • 3. Drain the sweet potatoes and return them to the pot.
  • 4. Add milk, butter, salt, and pepper.
  • 5. Mash until smooth and creamy. Adjust seasoning to taste.

Notes:

For a richer flavor, you can use cream instead of milk.
