Ingredients:

  • 1 cup cold water
  • 1 unit egg beaten

Instructions: 

  • In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  • Gradually add the cold water and beaten egg to the dry ingredients, whisking until smooth.
  • Dip fish fillets into the batter, ensuring they are fully coated.
  • Fry the battered fish in a deep fryer or large pot with hot oil until golden brown and crispy.
  • Remove and drain on paper towels before serving.

Notes:

For best results, ensure the water is very cold.
