Instructions:
1. Preheat your griddle or cast iron skillet over medium-high heat.
2. Divide the ground beef into 4 equal portions and roll them into balls.
3. Place the beef balls onto the hot griddle and smash them flat with a spatula.
4. Season with salt and pepper.
5. Cook for 2-3 minutes until the edges are crispy, then flip and add cheese slices.
6. Cook for another 1-2 minutes until the cheese is melted and the burger is cooked through.
7. Toast the buns on the griddle until golden brown.
8. Assemble the burgers and serve hot.
Notes:
For extra flavor, add your favorite toppings like lettuce, tomato, pickles, and sauce.
