Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 8 slices Turkey breast cooked
  • 8 slices Bacon cooked
  • 4 slices Texas toast
  • 1/4 cup Butter
  • 1/4 cup Flour
  • 2 cups Milk
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese grated
  • 1/2 cup Cheddar cheese shredded
  • to taste Salt and pepper

Instructions: 

  • 1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • 2. In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Stir in the flour and cook for about 1 minute.
  • 3. Gradually whisk in the milk, cooking until the mixture thickens. Stir in the Parmesan and Cheddar cheeses until melted. Season with salt and pepper.
  • 4. Place the Texas toast slices in a baking dish. Top each slice with turkey and cover with the cheese sauce.
  • 5. Bake in the preheated oven until the sauce is bubbly and golden brown, about 10-15 minutes.
  • 6. Top each sandwich with two slices of bacon and serve immediately.

Notes:

This recipe is a great way to use up leftover turkey.
