rinsed

Turmeric Powder

Instructions:
1. Rinse the moong dal thoroughly under running water.
2. In a pressure cooker, add the rinsed moong dal and water. Cook for 3-4 whistles or until the dal is soft.
3. In a pan, heat ghee. Add cumin seeds and let them splutter.
4. Add chopped ginger and green chilies. Sauté for a minute.
5. Add turmeric powder and cooked moong dal. Mix well.
6. Add salt and let it simmer for 5-7 minutes. Adjust the consistency by adding water if needed.
7. Garnish with chopped cilantro and serve hot.
Notes:
Serve with rice or roti for a complete meal.
