Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 1 whole Duck about 5-6 pounds
  • 2 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Black Pepper freshly ground
  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp Fresh Thyme chopped

Instructions: 

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Rinse the duck and pat it dry with paper towels.
  • Rub the duck with salt, pepper, and olive oil.
  • Stuff the duck with minced garlic and fresh thyme.
  • Place the duck in a roasting pan and roast for about 2 hours, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  • Let the duck rest for 10 minutes before carving.

Notes:

For extra crispy skin, you can broil the duck for the last 5-10 minutes of cooking.
