Instructions:
1. In a microwave-safe bowl, mix mochiko and water until smooth.
2. Add sugar and mix well.
3. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and microwave for 2 minutes.
4. Stir the mixture with a spatula, then microwave for another 1-2 minutes until the dough becomes translucent.
5. Dust a clean surface with cornstarch and transfer the mochi dough onto it.
6. Let it cool slightly, then cut into pieces and shape as desired.
Notes:
Be careful when handling hot mochi dough, as it can be very sticky and hot.
