Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 500 g Calamari rings cleaned and sliced
  • 1 cup All-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Black pepper freshly ground
  • 1 cup Buttermilk
  • 2 cups Vegetable oil for frying

Instructions: 

  • 1. Heat the oil in a deep fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  • 2. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, salt, and pepper.
  • 3. Dip calamari rings in buttermilk, then dredge in the flour mixture.
  • 4. Fry calamari in batches for 2-3 minutes until golden brown.
  • 5. Remove and drain on paper towels. Serve hot.

Notes:

Serve with lemon wedges and marinara sauce for dipping.
