Equipment

Ingredients:  

Meatballs

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 egg beaten
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper

Sauce

  • 1/2 cup vinegar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch mixed with 2 tbsp water

Instructions: 

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, beaten egg, breadcrumbs, milk, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  • Form mixture into meatballs and place on a baking sheet.
  • Bake for 15-20 minutes until browned and cooked through.
  • In a saucepan, combine vinegar, brown sugar, ketchup, and soy sauce. Bring to a boil.
  • Add cornstarch mixture to the saucepan and cook until thickened.
  • Add baked meatballs to the sauce and simmer for 10 minutes.

Notes:

Serve over rice or noodles for a complete meal.
