Ingredients:

  • 1 lb green beans trimmed
  • 2 cups white vinegar
  • 2 cups water
  • 2 tbsp salt
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 4 cloves garlic peeled
  • 1 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 1 tsp dill seeds

Instructions: 

  • 1. In a saucepan, combine vinegar, water, salt, and sugar. Bring to a boil.
  • 2. Pack green beans, garlic, red pepper flakes, and dill seeds into a jar.
  • 3. Pour the hot vinegar mixture over the beans, leaving some space at the top.
  • 4. Seal the jar and let it cool to room temperature. Refrigerate for at least 24 hours before serving.

Notes:

These pickled green beans will keep in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
